Wild and the Moon is a vegan restaurant and cold pressed juice bar in Le Marais Paris.
Wild and The Moon is based on the simple belief that food should be good for you, good for the planet and above all delicious. The food and juices are 100% organic, locally sourced, plant-based, gluten-free and free of refined sugars, additives and chemicals.

 

 

There menu contains a selection of cold pressed juices, nutmilks, smoothies, salads, soups, desserts, crackers and snacks. The food is carefully crafted by a raw vegan chef and nutritionist using age-old wisdom and techniques of food preparations. These techniques may involve soaking of grains, seeds and nuts. Fermentation of vegetables to improve digestion and low temperature dehydration to preserve essential enzymes and antioxidants.

 

The interior feels like a small green oasis in the middle of the city with wooden furniture and lots of plants.

The Butchers Daughter

 

 

The Butchers Daughter is a plant-based restaurant, cafe and juice bar in New York City. This place is a real healthy hotspot among healthy food lovers, models and tourist. They treat fruit and vegetables as a butcher. They chop, fillet, and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into pretty juices.

 

They have several locations divided over the country. The menu changes daily and is 100% vegetarian, mostly vegan and gluten-free. If needed they can change a dish to suit dietary restrictions.

 

They buy their produce from local and organic farmers. The fruit and vegetables taste better and it support as well the sustainable community. They designed the menu in a way that you eat with the season. Each month brings new produce and they are highlighted in special dishes, juices and cocktails.

 

 

A few of their dishes are breakfast bowls, buckwheat pancakes, Pad Thai, pizza with vegan cheese, salads, grilled artichoke, juices and more.

 

The Butchers Daughter is one of my favorite healthy hotspots in New York. They serve great food and have a nice interior. The best part is that as good as everything they serve is healthy, fresh made and the extensive options on the menu. I am sure you will like this place.

Hippie Fish

 

Hippie Fish is a new beach club in Zandvoort from the same owners as Ubuntu. The interior is cozy with lots of plants, wood furniture, a fireplace and a large porch. The food is very tasty. On the menu you will find dishes like grilled sea bass with vegetables, sashimi, delicious sandwiches, fresh juices and more.

 

After dinner you can enjoy a walk on the beach or just enjoy the view and the sun.

At 26 grains in London they sell porridge in many different flavors. It was the first time I tried porridge and I absolutely loved it. They have many different flavors as banana, cacao, almond butter and rhubarb. Beside porridge they sell savory bowls, muesli bowls and healthy snacks. I really love this place. It’s located on Neal’s Yard. The store is small and cozy. In the summer time they have benches outside. I definitely can recommend this place for a delicious breakfast or lunch.

This apple, blueberry breakfast muffins are a nutritious breakfast. On Sunday I make a batch of these muffins, so I am sure to have something at home that I can take with me if I have no time to have breakfast at home. They are as well a great alternative for regular sweet treats.

I use oats and buckwheat; they are a great gluten-free alternative to regular grains. These muffins are only sweetent by fruits no sugar is added. I find them delicious and can’t get enough of them. Who would ever think that you could have muffins for breakfast that are healthy and good for you.

I make a big batch good for 12 big muffins and keep them in the fridge or in an airtight container. They stay good for about 5 days. If you want, you can freeze them or make half a batch. It just takes a few minutes of your time to make this muffin and trust me the whole week you will be happy you made them. They are a great success among my friends and family and kids love them!

If you feel like a muffin is not enough for you in the morning you can have them with a healthy breakfast smoothie they make a great combination.

 

Apple, blueberry breakfast muffins

 

Ingredients

 

Dry Ingredients:

 

100 grams buckwheat flour
100 grams of oat flour
75 gram almond flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon

 

Wet ingredients:

 

150g coconut yogurt or Greek yogurt
150 grams of unsweetened apple mouse
3 apples
100 grams of blueberries
10 soft dates
3 eggs (or egg substitute)
2 full tablespoons coconut oil

 

Instructions

 

1. Preheat the oven on 175 degrees Celsius

2. Rasp de apples
3. Place all the dry ingredients in a big bowl and add the rasp apples and blueberries and mix together.
4. Then place all the rest of the wet ingredients in the blender and blend until everything is smooth.
5. Add the wet ingredients and mix these together with the dry ingredients and the fruit until everything is blend together.
6. Grease the muffin tins or place muffin liners and spoon the batter into 12 muffin tins. The tins will be quite full so you will have large muffins.
7. Bake them on 175 degrees for 25-35 minutes depends on your oven. The tops need to be golden brown.

Deliciously Ella is a deli by the famous food blogger Ella Mills aka Deliciously Ella and her fiancé Matt. Deliciously Ella is one of my favorite food blogs, so I was very excited to visit the place.  While I arrived at the Deliciously Ella Deli there was a long queue, but that made visiting this place not less worthy. You can choose from many healthy plant-based cold and warm dishes everything on the menu is plant-based. They serve salads, vegetable stews, soups, toast with avocado, porridge, cold pressed juices, smoothies and delicious healthier desserts.

I chose sweet potato, avocado, kale, broccoli, wild rice and some salmon, a green juice and pecan brownie, it tasted great. The food is simple, but healthy and delicious. I honestly must admit that I haven’t tried to make one of her recipes at home, but after tasting her food I definitely got inspired. Ella looks kind and sincere and the way she brings eating healthy looks easy and yummy. After trying her food, I became an even bigger fan. I definitely can recommend this place to anyone who loves a delicious healthy meal. This place is perfect if you suffer from food intolerance everything is fresh, tasty, free from gluten, lactose, sugar, preservatives or any other thing that shouldn’t have been in food. Here you don’t have to worry about what you order you can even splurge and order a delicious chocolate mousse or brownie.

You can relax in a hang mat, bring a picnic blanket or take a seat on one of the big lounge sofa or picnic tables under a tree. The atmosphere is relaxed; it feels like being on vacation. This place is perfect as well on cold and rainy days. The have a big glass house with an open fire, lots of art and design books and the food is just great. Pure food, organic, seasonal with herbs from the garden. They have many different options, fish, meat, vegan, vegetarian, gluten and sugar-free. Something for everyone. This place is as well ideal if you have children, they can run around and play in the garden. If you want to enjoy a perfect romantic sunset they have a cozy lounge area with a beautiful view over a tulip field.
